Streaming sites like Discovery Education provide standards-based digital videos to integrate in all subject areas, including videos related to the history of Texas.

School Tube is another site that provides safe and fun videos to enhance students’ learning. What I liked about Blinkx is that I can use it for stations/center to review concepts. All these video sites make a positive impact on students learning.
What I learned about Copyright is that teachers and students CANNOT copy or scan entire collections or images or publish copyright materials to the public. What is new to me is that as long the publishing content is in a secure location, student/teachers can do whatever they want to create products for instruction or to demonstrate learning.
One way to use Picasa Web Albums is for storage pictures that students may use to create power points and share their information to the class.
